Hulcup Sets a Scoring Record

OHC Girls U12 got their league season off to a record breaking start yesterday with a 15-0 win over Wallingford. In fairness to Wallingford, some of their squad were away at another match but our girls were in no mood for compassion. Molly Hulcup, the spearhead of our attack, scored 9 out of our haul of 15. In a post match interview Molly offered the following quote in her typically modest way. ” I know I am going to get the headlines this weekend but it was really a magnificent team effort. It is a tribute to the dominance through both skill and fitness of our midfield and our obdurate defence that we got that scoreline, I just did the job Dad told me too”
OK, Jon made that bit up, but if she had been interviewed, that is what she probably would have said. Well done girls.
