Match report Oxon League u10s vs. Banbury

These were our first ever matches in the Oxon League. This is the first season that the league has been available for the u10s age group. It is played under In2Hockey rules, 7 a side, single gender.

Both teams played very well, with lots of effort and enthusiasm from all of our players.

The girls won 4-1, a great result for a group of players who are really playing well together. The boys unfortunately lost 3-0, however they were matching Banbury for most of the game and were unlucky to concede two very late goals. The boys did well as many of the team are new to the U10s or the club this season so are learning to play together.

Banbury were great hosts, and we enjoyed our hockey (and hot dogs!) very much. Our next league match will be against Hawks after half term.
