Double win for U12’s at Wallingford

A great weekend of Hockey for girls and boys together: The u12s mixed sides winning both plate and cup at the Wallingford wildcats tournament.   On Saturday, despite illness and other late changes, Oxford (OHC) fielded three mixed teams – a day for everyone to have a chance to experience competitive ‎matches.  Unfortunately for Oxford B an injury in the the first game, which they lost to Oxford A, was crucial to later games, although they beat a Hawk’s side and Thame‎.

Oxford A v Oxford C semi-final , both unbeaten in the pool games and then‎ only a single last minute goal making the difference in this game.  Oxford C third -‎ Winning the Third‎ / Fourth playoff against Wallingford.

Oxford A winning‎ shield – coming from behind to beat ‎Hawks 2-1.

A great team effort from all the teams, with lots of passing and great runs but also some epic defending and amazing keeping.

Thanks to coaches‎ Jon, Amy, Fergus and Helen.
